Corrine Maddoux
Education & Training Designer
About Me
My name is Corrine Maddoux,
and I am an experienced educator, curriculum developer, and training designer with a dynamic background in instructional leadership, small business management, and professional development.

Over the past seven years, I’ve built a career rooted in education—teaching biology, kinesiology, and astronomy while leading department teams, mentoring new teachers, and developing high-impact, classroom-ready resources. I’ve delivered professional development sessions to educators and administrators alike, covering everything from curriculum planning to teacher wellness and classroom management. My instructional strategies have consistently improved student outcomes while making learning more accessible and engaging.

Beyond the classroom, I bring hands-on experience as a small business owner and salon manager. I founded and ran a successful mobile salon, managing everything from marketing and client relations to scheduling, operations, and brand development. That work sharpened my customer service skills, business acumen, and adaptability—traits that continue to serve me as I design training experiences for both students and professionals.

I also co-founded a land development business, coordinating excavation and grading projects for residential builders. Managing field crews and collaborating with homebuilders taught me how to lead under pressure, streamline processes, and translate vision into action—whether on a job site or in a training session.

Currently, I’m pursuing an accelerated MBA in Human Resource Management with a concentration in Learning & Development through Texas Woman’s University. This academic path aligns with my long-term goal: transitioning into corporate learning, instructional design, or training and enablement roles that blend strategy, content creation, and people development.

With a wide-ranging skill set, I don’t fit into just one box—and that’s my biggest asset. I bridge the gap between education and business, between teaching and leadership, and between creativity and structure. As I transition into the next phase of my career, I’m also offering ready-made classroom materials, downloadable professional development, and freelance training design services for teams, small businesses, and ed-tech companies.

If you're looking for someone who can teach, train, lead, and create—I'm here for it.
